Sunlit Floral Cascade

A bright glasshouse ceiling opens the space upward, turning architecture into a kind of skyframe. Suspended beneath it, a cascade of sculptural flowers flows through the atrium, shaped in vivid reds, oranges and yellows that shift like a slow current. The structure feels almost weightless, as if the blooms are caught mid-motion rather than fixed in place.

What makes the installation compelling is the contrast between material and illusion. Steel and glass provide a strict geometric order above, while the floral forms soften everything below with warmth and movement. Light filters through the roof panels, scattering across petals and edges, giving each layer a slightly different intensity of colour.

Seen from below, the work becomes immersive rather than decorative. It guides the eye upward and along its winding path, drawing attention to the height of the space and the calm clarity of the structure that holds it. The result is a quiet balance between control and spontaneity, where engineered space and organic form meet without tension.
